Route: From Central Station to Grote Markt

We’ll walk the main streets to see how the city evolved from a historic trade capital into a modern hub.

Antwerp Central Station & the Diamond District. We’ll start at one of Europe’s most beautiful train stations. I’ll explain how the local diamond exchange works, driving the global diamond trade. If you’re planning to shop, I’ll help you navigate GIA and HRD certificates and negotiate in the boutiques.
Meir Street & Rubens House. We’ll stroll down the city’s main shopping street. You’ll see stunning Renaissance architecture and learn about the life of Peter Paul Rubens.
Historic Center. We’ll head to the Cathedral of Our Lady and the famous City Hall at Grote Markt. If you have the time and energy, we can also walk to the Scheldt riverfront to see Het Steen castle or the modern MAS museum.

Chocolate and Waffles. Belgian chocolate is a matter of national pride. I’ll show you the best spots for a premium chocolate tasting and share my top authentic cafes.
Holiday Season. Visiting in winter? We’ll catch the massive Christmas market. You can try hot punch brewed in giant cauldrons at Grote Markt and ride the Ferris wheel by the river.

Pricing & Extras
The tour costs €230 for a 2-hour private experience for your group. Diamond purchases, souvenirs, and any food or drinks (oysters, beer, chocolate) are not included and should be paid separately at the venues.
